Sacramento River Fishing Report

The short 2009 late fall season started slowly with a lack of rain. The Christmas rains brought a fresh run of salmon up river. The beautiful 38 lb. hen (upper left) was caught on Dec 30 on a backtrolled Kwikfish. Stay tuned for updates about the 2010 salmon season. At the moment it appears that we will not have a fall season, but will have the same 2 month late season we had in 2009.
